Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. You will be charged for the full rate of the session if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice. All no-show appointments will be charged the full rate of the session.

We understand that life happens and there are times when you simply cannot make an appointment. However, a canceled appointment hurts three people: you, your therapist, and another client who could have potentially used your time slot. When a session is canceled without much notice, we are unable to fill this time slot by offering it to another client.

Insurance

Hopeful Horizons Counseling currently accepts several insurance plans. We currently accept Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health, Aetna, Care Credit, Ambetter, and Tricare.

Insurance coverage can vary by plan, so we recommend contacting the office directly with any questions about benefits, eligibility, copays, or self-pay options before scheduling your first appointment.

For out-of-network insurance providers, we can provide a superbill upon request to help you seek possible reimbursement in accordance with your insurance plan's guidelines.

Private Pay Options

For clients not using insurance, private pay rates begin at $175 per session for individual therapy and $200 per session for couples counseling. Sliding scale options are available for both individual and couples sessions.

Payment is due at the beginning of each session. We accept checks, cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and a Health Savings Card.
